Thank you for scheduling your shoot with me. Photographs are the first thing a buyer will see of your home, and a little preparation makes all the difference. Please complete the below checklist before I arrive so your home is photo ready.
One request: if possible, step out with your pets while I shoot. Think of it as a dry run for showings, and I will happily call or text the moment I finish.
Interior
Turn all lights on, including lamps, and replace any non-working bulbs with matching colors.
Turn all ceiling fans off.
Put away dishes, trash cans, small appliances, and paper towel holders.
Open curtains and make all beds.
Tuck pet food dishes, litter boxes, crates, beds, and toys out of sight.
Put all toilet seats down.
Clear personal items from bathroom countertops, and remove soiled towels and clothing.
Remove trash cans, toilet brushes, and plungers from bathrooms.
Tuck away power cords and wires.
Remove magnets and papers from the refrigerator.
Declutter every room, keeping small items to a minimum.
Dust, vacuum, and clean windows and mirrors.
Exterior
Remove toys, trash cans, hoses, and lawn tools from the yard.
Move vehicles out of the driveway, and avoid parking directly in front of the house.
Sweep porches, decks, the driveway, and sidewalks.
Clean the pool and put away all pool toys and equipment.
Clear clutter from the deck, under the deck, and porches.
